1. What kind of church is THE JOURNEY?

We are a casual, culturally relevant, truth seeking church. We desire to know God so that we can respond to Him with our love and our life! We use the Bible as our guide and focus, and we have helping our community as our primary purpose. We provide an open, authentic atmosphere so that everyone has the opportunity to experience genuine growth in their spiritual journey. We accept anyone who may be searching to find out their purpose in life and we embrace all peoples of every race. Everyone has a place at THE JOURNEY!

2. What will the services be like?

Our services are about 1 hour long and are filled with exciting, life-giving experiences! Each week will be different and will be a clear search for truth from the Bible. Our services include everything imaginable to help people seek God and know Him! Our main purpose in every service is for people to encounter and enjoy God. Then we give you tools to take home so you can practice the truths you have learned, resulting in your spiritual journey!

3. What should I wear to THE JOURNEY?

We want you to come just as you are! Dress is casual and relaxed. You’ll see everything from shorts to an occasional tie! Of course, the only thing we do ask is that you come modest enough that people aren’t tempted to pay more attention to someone’s appearance than to our God!

4. What does THE JOURNEY believe?

We are distinctly Christian in our beliefs and practices. By this we mean that we believe the Bible as our authority to study and learn about God. 5. What about my Kids - is there something for them?

You bet there is! This is one of the most exciting areas of our church! Our children’s ministry it top-notch and extreme in presentation and excitement! We call this ministry our KIDZ JOURNEY. Each KIDZ JOURNEY class is designed to care for, teach and encourage your child in the ways of God. The classes are age appropriate so that kids can experience God with their friends and peers. 6. What is THE JOURNEY really all about - What’s the bottom line?

We are glad you are reading this question because for most of us we just want to know the truth - plain and simple. Well, here it is. THE JOURNEY is about:

*building up families and children
*helping people to find God
*doing work for God in every way possible
